We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. After we got ready for the day we went to Granny's house for lunch. Uncle Mike, Aunt Julie, Abby, Grandpa Bob, and Great Grandma Ruth joined us for a wonderful meal. We had fun telling stories and reminiscing. After Minah finished her nap in the afternoon we went across town to Aunt Jackie's house to celebrate some more. Matt's Mom spends pretty much the entire month of November baking gingerbread house molds so family and friends can decorate them over Thanksgiving weekend. The kids look forward to making them every year and everything was all set up and ready to go at Aunt Jackie's. We were so excited because this was the first time Minah got to decorate a house and she had so much fun! She spent a long time putting candy on and taking it off the house. She ate so much of it too! Rachael spent hours working on hers and it was amazing. Chloe's was super cute with her blue pond with Swedish fish and Jacob's was very cool. I'm amazed at all of the creativity each year as they get more and more elaborate. Today Ryan decorated his house-compete with a gummy bear snowball fight and wrestling rink! The above two videos are of Minah making her first gingerbread house. Over the next few days I'll post pictures of all of them.
