Sweetie!

Sunday we enjoyed a fun day at a local farm.  We were joined by a lot of our extended family and we had a great time.  The weather has been a bit unseasonably warm over the last week so Sunday was a bit hot at times.  I have to say, it is much better than cold and wet so we didn't mind the heat and it sure didn't slow us down.  The kids loved bouncing on the jumping pillow, peddling little tractors, climbing a tire mountain and taking the slide down, running through the corn maze, petting the farm animals, walking though a "Haunted Forest", eating fresh apples with caramel sauce, drinking fresh apple cider, riding ponies, and picking out pumpkins.  We made sure to stop by the apple orchard on our way home.  Unfortunately they no longer had "U-Pick" apples but we were still able to get some in their orchard store.  The kids made sure we didn't leave without their apple cider doughnuts and caramel apples!  Hopefully we have a new fall tradition because everyone really seemed to have a lot of fun.
