Field Trip to the Farm

Tuesday Chloe's preschool class had a field trip to a farm.  We boarded the bus in the morning and headed out.  It took about 40 minutes to get there and the kids were so excited.  After we separated into three groups, we started to explore.  First we took a hayride throughout the farm.  We got to see horses, the corn fields, the pumpkin patch, where they grow Christmas trees, the pond, and their "Enchanted Garden".  Next we visited the tee pee and they learned about Native Americans.  Chloe had about 20 or so questions for the kind woman speaking to the group.  She was very patient with all of the kids.  Next we went into the barn to watch a movie on farming.  That was Chloe's favorite part.  Afterwards each preschooler got to pick an ear of Indian corn, a gourd, and a mini pumpkin.  Finally the class enjoyed a snack and did a bit more exploring before we headed back to school.  Chloe had so much fun she fell asleep during the bus ride home!
